Chess Success

Congratulations to all our incredible chess players who recently competed in the 10th PCC Online Schools Tournament. The school had teams taking part in both the Premier Division and the Championship section and our teams were ranked very highly in both, competing against a very strong and experienced field of independent and state schools. Our A team came 6th out of the 20 schools competing and our B team ranked 3rd out of 40 teams. Well done!

We have 3 thriving after school chess clubs running after school every week where children can learn to play chess and develop their strategic skills, beginners and more advanced players are all welcome.
