Young Geographer Competition Entries

Thank you to all the KS2 children who participated in this year’s RGS Young Geographer of the Year competition. We were delighted to see the quality and detail in all your entries and the creative ways you tried to persuade your audience.

This year’s theme was Choose Geography and it was lovely to see your many positive reasons for studying Geography – many of which align with our school vision of being educated citizens in a Global World. Reasons given ranged from simply knowing where you are going to more complex issues such as helping to solve climate change. Inspiring geographers such as Yi-Fu Tuan were introduced and personal journeys shared.

We selected six winners to represent CtS in the RGS competition – their names and entries are below. Congratulations children!
