5MG and 5SD Residential Adventures

Year 5 are having a fantastic time at their residential this week. The adventure began with a picnic lunch on arrival and it has been non stop ever since! Activities have included orienteering, abseiling, raftbuilding, archery and a watersports team challenge. Some of the tasks – such as putting on a wetsuit for the first time – have required great agility and flexibility! Other tasks such as raft building and the watersports team challenge have required the children to really develop their team work and communication skills. Can you build a water worthy raft out of 6 barrels, 4 logs and a pile of ropes? Year 5 can!
